The Photographer
Arthur F. Rounds is a retired photographic imaging specialist. After serving for 3 years in the US Army as a process photography instructor, Arthur graduated magna cum laude from RIT's College of Graphic Arts & Photography with a BS degree in Professional Photography.
Arthur's work life included professional photography and teaching photography at the college and professional levels. He owned and operated a commercial photo laboratory in Manchester, NH for the 15 years before he retired.
In 1985 Arthur was awarded Photographer of the Year by the New Hampshire Professional Photographers Association.
Arthur is a juried member of the League of New Hampshire Craftsmen where he displays his photographs as Giclée prints.
Arthur's photographs of all of the covered bridges in New Hampshire are featured in the New Hampshire Department of Transportation's 1994 publication New Hampshire Covered Bridges: A Link With Our Past.
Arthur's latest personal project has been to photograph all of the Stone Arch Bridges that still exist in New Hampshire. He began this project in September 2022. He is currently in the process of adding the last few stone arch bridge images to this website.
Arthur continues to actively photograph subject matter pertaining to the Natural World. He is currently expanding his portfolio of New Hampshire landscapes.
